John and Carol happily tied the knot during a late August ceremony in Kemptville,ON. It was a happy reminder to all, that it’s never too late to find true love.
John and Carol dated briefly in high school. I can’t quite remember the reason she told me they drifted apart, but they evidently did, but still held on to happy memories of their time together. They each went their separate ways, married others and had their respective families.
Fast forward to many years later, when they each became single again. Still having mutual friends in common, Carol heard that John was coming for a visit (he now lives in Nova Scotia) she decided to get in on the reunion and met up with John and their friends. Well, that got the ball rolling and they have not looked back. Both are incredibly happy and both love art and travelling.
Carol had her wedding dress handmade and embroidered on a trip to Mexico, as did John with his cool linen shirt. They tied the knot on her neighbours back porch surrounded by family and friends. Her sister and sister’s husband were the maid of honour and the best man. Prime rib was on the menu, the bar was fired up in the sitting room and fun was had by all.
I wish you both the best of luck in the future and a happy move to Nova Scotia!
