Mike and Sandra were married June 23rd, just outside of Kingston in a quaint little town called Bath. The Ceremony was held at the bride’s parents residence and the girls got ready there also.
I was quite excited when I arrived to see a very large plantation like home, boasting two levels of wrap around verandah. Once inside, the charm continued with a bright, naturally lit sitting room area while the rest of the home displayed an essence of early 20th century decor. Sandra is an animal lover, and her beloved pets are also residence of this home, so of course we had to grab a few photos of her with her lovely beasts!
The rain threatened the ceremony, but when it came time for Mike and Sandra to tie the knot, we were blessed with only a few sprinkles. We took advantage of the beautiful barns, buildings and landscaping of her parents farm for photos before we head off to another charming farm for the reception.
It was touching listening to all the stories told by cousins, siblings parents and other family members during the speeches. The buffet dinner was delicious and when it was time to cut the cake, the grooms dad produced a giant sword which did the trick. Everyone was busy dancing the night away and having a great time when it was time for me to go. Hope you two enjoyed your honeymoon in France! Wow.
Thanks again Mike and Sandra for letting me photograph both your lovely engagement session and your wedding, it was amazing.
