Congratulations Jeff and Sarah, you are at last married! When I met these two last spring for their engagement session, they were a little nervous, but looking forward to practicing their camera angles for the wedding day. Of course they did a fantastic job and their photos were lovely.

Fast forward to a couple months before their April wedding date when I get an email stating they might be adding one more guest to the wedding. Sarah was pregnant! Not only was she pregnant, but her due date was to fall pretty much on her wedding date. What are the chances? Instead of postponing, Jeff and Sarah decided to go ahead and she would walk down the aisle very, very pregnant. Little baby, had other plans, however. The night before the wedding, all was still a go, baby had not arrived, BUT……that morning as my husband and daughters were leaving to go out the door for a trip to Kingston (without me), I opened my email to read that Sarah, had indeed gone into labour and there would be no wedding, at least not that day. I quickly ran out the door and hopped in the car to join my husband and daughters.

Sarah and Jeff brought their new baby girl into the world on April 21st, 2018. Shortly after, they got to planning their replacement wedding date. Luckily for them, all of the vendors, including the venue at Eagle Creek Golf Club, were happily able to accommodate them. May 26th was the new date, and they had a new member of the family to celebrate with!

Being a new parent is hard, let alone being new parents and planning a wedding. There was no shortage of volunteers to hold the very well behaved newborn however and we escaped the looming rain with only a drizzle during the ceremony. Sarah looked beautiful and I was so happy she was able to navigate her day without having swollen ankles and an about to burst baby bump. Every wedding has a story to tell, and you two will be telling this one for a long time to come.
