Mary and Barry sealed the deal on September 17th this year. They tied the knot at the Holiday Inn and suites in Kanata. We were faced with another rainy day, what every bride fears, but it ALWAYS works out in the end. Mary had her beautiful sisters for her bridesmaids, they look so much alike. One sister in particular, I felt I had met before, but couldn’t place her. After the wedding she e-mailed me after having a eureka moment, we actually worked together many years ago at the York Street Spa. Small world.
Mary and Barry are just a down-to-earth fun, loving couple. The boys hung out at the hotel bar, while Mary and the girls got ready in her room. We had a bit of fun when I went into the bar to take some pics. Barry later showed his light heartedness and busted out his best dance moves during the reception.
The rain kept us mostly indoors, but I wanted to do a special shout out to Mary’s nephew (sorry luv, I forget your name) who was a trooper and became my assistant throughout the night, holding my flash, and umbrellas and fetching things for me. He even offered to help me bring my things to my car…..so thoughtful for such a young man.
It was a fun and memorable evening surrounded by the best of family and friends. Congrats again Mary and Barry!
Captain Morgan or Old Spice pose? Lol
