Well didn’t I drop the ball on this one? Back in April I was invited to be the show photographer for With This Ring Boutique Bridal Showcase for the second year in a row. I did the show, edited the photos and sent them back to ITM Events (show hosts) so they could use them for promotion etc. Uh….I forgot to blog about it myself! I realized this the other day as I was going through some of my blog posts from earlier this year and last. So without further delay, I would like to introduce you to some of this year’s showcase wedding industry talent.
FASHION
In 2015 the showcase had a run-way fashion show as its main event. This year, the frocks being shown from Sinders Bridal house were presented live throughout the show with the models actually interacting with the patrons who were visiting.
OLD AND NEW
This year there were some familiar faces as well as some new vendors participating in the show. All are local from Ottawa and surrounding areas. There were great prizes given out, free samples, magazines and of course advice and customer service from all of the fantastic vendors.
SMALL TOWN CHARM
Small town shows are a great way to be able to speak with vendors one on one without feeling rushed or crushed by the crowds. It’s intimate and personal and you can really get a feel for someone who may interest you as your wedding vendor. It’s also a great place for vendors themselves to be able to connect and chat with other colleagues in the industry.

Liana Lacroix Beauty had a gorgeous booth and was demonstrating hair artistry throughout the day. She also provides professional make-up services and is mobile!
Kupcake returned to be in the show again this year. I was in love with those spiky cupcakes (delicious too)

The hosts of the show ITM Events with thier partner business Married In The Moment pop up weddings were there to discuss your all inclusive elopement packages.

And of course scattered through out the show were the beautiful brides showcasing all the gorgeous wedding dresses from Sinders Bridal House.

The venue was at the Carelton Golf and Yacht Club in Manotick, which also hosts weddings and events on a regular basis.

Returning again this year was also Main Event Entertainment
These folks have hit this new trend at the perfect time….hire your own cotton candy cart for your wedding, just gorgeous. This was very popular at the show mmmmm…..free cotton candy samples.
Delightfully elegant events had such a cute display….love the paper flowers.
The swoon worthy images by Amar Auluck were also on display.

Cellar 82 was there to show us what could happen inside their decked out air-stream mobile venue, although the weather was not idea to bring the air-stream on site, we were happy to see how you could make it into a mobile man cave if you desired.
Dazzling faces make up artistry was there to primp the models throughout the show and make them shine. Amazing make up work.
Sandals was there to represent your dream destination wedding.
Couldn’t get enough of these gorgeous “brides” and dresses from Sinders.
What’s a wedding without a gorgeous cake and desserts? Edible sins had a beautiful display.
