[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Two weeks ago I had the honour and privilege of sponsoring and photographing Ottawa’s first LGTBQ wedding show. It was the brain child of ITM events, hosted by Juila O’Grady and Angela Vanwingerden. They gathered enough sponsors and vendors throughout the Ottawa and surrounding areas to make the show a success.

Being the first of its kind, you are never sure of what the turn out could be, but there was a lot of positive support around the event and the numbers were pretty darn good for a show new on the scene. I am positive it will only continue to grow in the future.
The idea behind it was to give same sex couples and any LGTBQ couples a safe place to look for vendors who will be happy to work with them on their wedding or any event , and not pass judgement or turn them away when looking for help planning their wedding.

There were no lack of vendors willing to show their support in every category. Venues, photographers, planners, decor, stationary, cakes and desserts, catering, photo booths, hair/make-up, you name it, they were there. If you are interested in seeing a list of the vendors and sponsors involved, please scroll down to the bottom of this post. Any and all of them will be willing to help you plan your wedding day, same sex or not. Love is inclusive.
The Welcoming Comittee
Handsome and talented bartenders for the day…..
The “rainbow” the show’s signature drink.
The ladies who kept social media on point and behind the scenes tasks running smoothly.
