Back in January I posted a contest to my facebook page encouraging those who had recently gotten engaged over the holidays to post thier stories with a chance to win a complimentary engagement shoot. Well Owen and Lyne prevailed and they were my engagement shoot contest winners.
The proposal
Owen proposed to Lyne on Christmas eve, drawing her a candle lit bubble bath and giving her a Christmas card professing his love and asking her to spend the rest of their lives together. Lyne was pleasantly shocked, and without hessitation embraced the proposal.
We decided to wait until June to the shoot so everyone could enjoy the warmer weather. Owen and Lyne decided that a great place to take some romantic photos would be the Canadian Museum of History. I agreed. Unfortunately when we arrived their trademark waterfall was under construction, but no matter, the grounds have many photo opportunities around every corner. Lyne and Owen oozed natural chemistry and photographing them was a breeze.
The wedding
The pair are running off to Mexico next May to tie the knot with thier closest friends and family. I know the wedding will be filled with beauty and Joy and I wish you both the best of luck with your new lives together.
