Vanessa contacted me regarding a fall maternity photography session. She was looking for a photographer who was comfortable taking photos out doors in nature because it’s where they are most comfortable being. After an email or two I knew exactly what she was looking for and I believe the perfect location was chosen to highlight the beauty of this family.
Soon as we arrived at our destination, Vanessa, her son and husband all kicked off their shoes. She told me they love being barefoot and that is how they are most of the time. Lucky for us the fall weather has been amazing….and perfect for bare feet!
I have to say I absolutely loved photographing this family. They were all so natural, comfortable and they expressions of love they shared between one another came pouring through in the photos. Throughout the session, I hardly had to prompt any posing or direction, I just let them interact the way they do as a family and nearly every shot was gold.
